1 老人養護機構居室空間尺度需求之探討 -以使用者觀點- Research on User’s Livespace Scale Demand of Long Term Care Facilities 林春玲* 翁彩瓊** 摘要隨著台灣高齡化社會的來臨及社會結構之變遷，傳統家庭照顧老年人之功能逐漸式微，進而使高齡者選擇老人養護機構之生活型態日益增多。因此，老人養護機構成為高齡者入居後的生活場所，其居室單元是高齡者重要的生活據點，所以居室空間規劃良好與否，攸關高齡者於居室的生活品質。居室空間除了能讓高齡者獨立使用拐杖或輪椅外，亦須考量照護者之操作空間需求。本研究依據老人養護機構居室使用者(包括高齡者與照護者二類)之觀點，從高齡者使用行為與照護作業模式探討其空間尺度需求，並進行相關法規檢討，預期成果擬整合高齡者及照護者二類使用者行為需求，建立居室舒適合宜的空間尺度建議值，目的於提供相關現行法規修正與未來老人養護機構設計者之參考與建議。關鍵詞：老人養護機構、居室空間、尺度需求 ABSTRACT While the social structure changes and the coming of aged society, traditional family is fading to fulfill the function of taking care of the elderly. Increasing tendency is to keep the elderly in long term care facilities. The live space design of the room in care unit decides the quality of the elderly. Live space design of room for the elderly should include the space not only for the elderly who moves around with sticker or wheelchair but also the care giver who push the wheelchair. This research is to explore the scare demand of the room in long term care facility also examine existing related regulation.
